The financial district is found in the southern region of the town, in the Fort area.  On the north of the Fort is your main business district, which slowly merges to a commercial-residential location. The majority of the old factories can be found in that region of the city. 

Still further north are far more residential locations, and outside them are industrial zones in addition to several squatter districts and other regions of the overcrowded and poorly maintained home.

Home is mostly privately owned, even though there's some public home assembled from the authorities through publicly financed corporations or by personal cooperatives with public capital. Mumbai is very crowded, and home is rare for everybody who isn't wealthy. (For this reason, industrial and commercial businesses have found it tougher to entice mid-level professional, technical, or managerial team.)
